Inspiration from a movie I've never seen.

I am going to see the 5678's tomorrow. They are the Japanese girl band from Kill Bill. I have never actually watched it....
I am not a fan, but my partner is.

I pondered for a long time... Not knowing the movie or band made doing my nails a tad tricky.

This is what I came up with...
Yellow and black are BYS.
Yellow - Sunshine.
Black - Black Satin.

Red is Ulta3, Pepper Pot.

Paint splatter.

So this was my first attempt at paint splatter nails. I saw a tutorial and decided I HAD to try it!
So this was the result:
They don't have a top coat yet, and the camera killed some of the detail...
Overall I am pretty pleased with them... They were relatively easy and fun...

Base color is Revlon Top Speed in Stone Wash.
Green, blue and yellow are BYS.
Green - Flash Dance.
Blue - Touch Blue, Make It True.
Yellow - No sticker.

Red is Ulta 3, Pepper Pot.

I think this, in various colors, may become my go to look.

Sunset nails

I thought I would give this look a shot... After a lot of stuffing around I managed to get a pretty decent result.
Again, a dodgy picture taken on my phone.
Orange - Ulta3 "Crazy"
Yellow - A mix of BYS yellow (the sticker has come off) and BYS Enchanted.
Pink - A mix of BYS Pink Panic and Ladies That Lunch.
Black - BYS Black Satin.

I am quite happy with how this turned out... I will probably give it another shot in a while.

Random pattern...

Random pattern due to boredom.
As usual I used BYS polish. Touch Blue, Make It True, Black Satin and White.

Excuse yet another dodgy picture and the kiddie's legs in the background.

First attempt at union jack nails.

So I saw something similar to this on a blog which I, sadly, cannot remember the name of. I thought I would give it a shot.
I must say, I thought this would b a lot easier than it was, and my  first attempt was pretty dodgy, especially on my right hand.
